My Love Letter To Broadway
Concert at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater

My Love Letter to Kristin Chenowith

Dear Kristin,

I have a confession to make.  I’ve always had a lot of respect for your talent, but honestly was never a fan.  I thought you were a little too mousy, and your voice was too Broadway, if that is even comprehendible.  I’m a huge fan of Broadway and theatre, so this may sound a bit ridiculous.  Today I was convinced to accompany my best friend and a huge fan, to your My Love Letter to Broadway show at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The first good thing that happened was our seats were upgraded because they needed the last rows in the Orchestra for technical equipment.   You will never believe what happened next?   I was converted.  It seems you are all grown up now with your own Broadway solo show and even have a theatre named after you in  your home town of  Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.   You are funny, beautiful and sophisticated, and have incredibly sparkly shoes.  When you sang "I’m Losing My Mind", I nearly thought I had lost mine for not recognizing the beauty in your voice before.  I held onto my heart as you sang "A House is Not a Home" and "Bring Him Home". I raise the white flag and surrender to you oh tiny Diva.   I’ve made a mistake, and am proud to add you to my favorites list along with the likes of Barbra, Bette, and Whitney.

At intermission I ran to the concession to get your Art of Elegance CD.  When I  realized that you had already signed them before the show,  I bought two.  Can this get any better?  The answer is yes, because there was the second act, a Chorus Line and a better wardrobe.   Your boobs and butt are great, by the way, and by chance is pink your favorite color?    Honoring your parents with the 50-year song, showing your giving nature and your support of young artists, and your true caring in what is going on in the world today, I really did fall in love with you today. I’ll leave you with this, the same thing you left with me.  God Bless You, and thanks for coming Kristi.  With Love and Respect,  – ThisbroadSway 11/5/16
